BENEFIT ELIGIBILITY
CHANGING YOUR BENEFITS

Liaison Resources is proud to offer you and your eligible family members a comprehensive benefits package.

Making well-informed decisions about your benefits is an important part of being a consumer within a challenging health care system. It’s also increasingly important to select the right benefits to meet your family’s needs and effectively manage health care services and costs.

Benefit Open Enrollment:

April 1 - April 7, 2026

Annual Open Enrollment is a period of time when you can review, select, and make changes to your benefits. The purpose is to give you the opportunity to choose the benefits that best suit your needs and make any necessary adjustment for the upcoming year.

📌 Important: This year’s Open Enrollment is ACTIVE. That means all employees must log in and either elect or waive coverage for benefits effective 5/1/2026.

➡️ If you miss the deadline, you will not have coverage.

All benefit elections will take effect on 5/1/2026.

What's Changing?

What's New in 2026/2027

You’ll notice several changes to our medical and prescription drug benefits for the upcoming plan year. This Summary of Material Modification ("SMM") will modify some of the information contained in the Summary Plan Description ("SPD") for the Liaison Creative Plan (the "Plan") that describes the Plan as of May 1, 2026.

Note: In the event of any discrepancy between this information and the SPD (Summary Plan Description), the provisions of the SPD will govern.

What’s Changing for the Coming Plan Year:

Medical

Liaison will now administer medical plans through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX), effective May 1, 2026. Employees may elect from a High-Deductible Health Plan, which is HSA eligible, or a PPO plan.

If you previously enrolled in the Cigna Base PPO or Cigna Buy-Up PPO plan, you will notice there is now only one PPO plan administered. Review the medical page to view the BCBSTX PPO plan design to decide if the plan is still a good fit for you and your family.

If you were previously enrolled in the HDHP plan with Cigna, you will still have access to a similar HDHP plan with BCBSTX, with some plan design changes. Your HSA will still be administered through Medcom.

Plan Changes to Note:

  • Deductibles under the HDHP plan with BCBSTX have increased from your previous Cigna HDHP. An individual deductible on the HDHP plan has increased from $5,000 to $5,500. The family deductible on the HDHP has increased from $10,000 to $11,000.
  • Out-of-pocket (OOP) maximums on the HDHP plan with BCBSTX are also slightly increased. An individual OOP maximum has increased from $6,350 to $6,900, while the family OOP maximum has increased from $12,700 to $13,800.
  • After your deductible on the BCBSTX HDHP plan, you will encounter copays for physician and specialist services. The physician copay is $30 after deductible for in office and telemedicine visits. The specialist copay is $60 after deductible. All other services (imaging, labs, inpatient, etc.) will be administered at 20% coinsurance after the deductible.
  • The BCBSTX PPO plan will differ from the previously administered Cigna Base or Buy-Up PPO plans. Deductible, out-of-pocket maximums, and copays have changes. Coinsurance will still be administered at 30% after deductible has been met for imaging, labs, inpatient and additional services.
  • The deductible for the PPO plan with BCBSTX for an individual is $2,500, and for a family it is $7,500. These deductibles have decreased from $5,000 (indv.) & $10,000 (family) on the Cigna Base PPO & from $3,000 (indv.) on the Cigna Buy-Up PPO. The family deductible for the BCBSTX of $7,500 is an increase from the $6,000 family deductible on the Cigna Buy-Up plan.
  • Out-of-pocket maximums under the BCBSTX PPO plan are increased for members previously enrolled in both the Cigna PPO Base & Cigna PPO Buy-Up. The BCBSTX OOP maximum for an individual is $7,500, increased from $6,500 on both the Cigna Base and Buy-Up PPO plans. The BCBSTX OOP maximum for families is $15,000, increased from $13,000 on both the Cigna Base and Buy-Up PPO plans.

Review the Medical Page for rate changes, formulary updates and plan design information.
